Also, I'm wondering if the game data might be corrupt. Have you tried verifying your files?
Ok, update. I just tested this (GOG version) by boarding a Truiumph ITC-4 with no issues. I also boarded a Heron MRCH where I had a mission from Phestus with no issue.
Boarding code has not changed related to the Phestus missions. The only thing I do is check to see if you have a mission for that type of ship when you turn the ship in to Arkus. So, this update should not change the boarding process at all - though you never know.
I recommend verifying the install and sending me your log as mentioned above if you continue to have the problem.
Hi Don Just thought I'd let you know that I successfully boarded a Triumph and salvaged some parts. Kind of strange how it happened. First off I was going to uninstall the game. For some unknown reason, I used the uninstall icon that came with the game. Went through the prompts and saved the saved games. After that process completed I noticed that all the files were still there. So I decide to try the game again, it loaded and seems to be working fine now.
There was a lockup when I clicked on the Repair Parts button on the ship screen. There wasn't any way to exit.
