Thank you very much for the clarification.
It would be such a shame if this would be the case ... the game is really nice! :-)
I understand creating and modifing and repairing stuff takes time.
But for the love of God .. this is becomming a Project Zomboid project .. in development for YEARS !!
Fixes and quircks and stuff added to it but why does it take soo long .. Hire more people if they are needed :(

Will you pay for the extra cost? At least the Dev has been very active with the community (though it's been a few months).

I haven't played the game yet, but from I read, it appears to be very playable and I think the Dev was adding more to the story aspect(?) or something like that. There's a reason why the game is so cheap for us and it looks great from all the vids I've watched. (I'm just picky about playing final versions; personal thing) ;)

More updates from the Dev would be nice though.

For a single developer, the game is pretty remarkable. From what it says on the steam link, is that he is working on finalizing chapter 2. The last post on steam was April the 2nd. Hopefully the latest patch will be coming soon..:)

That's great to hear, I truly appreciate the Dev as well and I also think it's remarkable. Looking forward to it. +10 to the Dev!

With the care that's been shown so far, I can tell the final release will be just as good as any top tier game. :)

Also, has the Dev mentioned how many chapters will be in the game?

P.S. If the Dev released a small pack for additional support, I'd gladly buy it. Devs who are active with the gaming community (GOG forum for us), should always be supported.

According to this post there should be three chapters.

Agreed that the dev involvement has been excellent. The only downside is extra content means extra development time - what has been achieved so far is hugely impressive for a (near) one-person band, but it does demand a patient audience.

Almost final release? Any ideas when?
