You can get past the active forcefield to the stasis pods by just clicking beyond the door.

PS. Great game so far!

That certainly did not happen to me. I could enter the stasis pod room from the hall, but as soon as I clicked anywhere into the room I would be kicked back to the hall.

It was a sometimes happens bug, but we squashed it with the new patch to a never happens bug now :)
GOG will have the patch tomorrow.

The new update should fix this problem :) You can let Galaxy update the game or you can download the patch available on your game shelf :)

I have the update, yet I am still able to walk right past the force field and into the stasis area by clicking on a spot near the top of the screen.

I am assuming that this should not be possible (though I have yet to finish the surgery puzzle).

Please confirm you are using 1.0.6 (bottom right corner of menu screen)
