I don't know how to fix your problem but I saw someone on the Steam forums having the exact same issue, in post #12:

Maybe contact that member to see if you both have any similarities in terms of your system setup, or at least keep an eye on that thread over there in case someone finds a solution.

I have tried searching everywhere, reloading game, uninstall and re-install game, but John fries at the furnace every time. Mad clicking on the door is a failure every time. Tried clicking any where else for any movement and no good.
John is on a suicide mission and I cannot convince him otherwise. Suggestions any one?????

Yes i tried the links on this page to no avail
I also made certain that the icon for 'go to the doorway' is in fact there. Same problem here. Can find nothing to solve it.


I also have no idea where my vsync is located. Options ingame are brightness and sound, searching my laptop for anything related to vsync yields nothing. searching online yields nothing. catalyst control center yields nothing.
I will wait for a patch.

Hey Dudes, if you set vysnc on (your card) it will fix this, but fear not! We are testing a patch that we will roll out in the next few days and it will work around this.
