1.500 for Steam version since 7 November (more than 2 wks ago) so why still 1.410 for GOG version?

I just bought the game today on GOG but haven't downloaded it yet because it shows old version in my library.

I bought it only a couple of days ago and was going to download and install it but then I saw it wasn't the latest version so I'm waiting for GOG to update it first (it has nothing to do with auto-update). Thanks for letting me know 1.6 is now the latest version.

Seems you missed my point. Why not downlaod it now and start palying it? It is goign to auto update anyway whent he version comes, no?

Two reasons why I don't feel like playing it before the patch arrives:-

1. I don't like my games being auto-updated - I hate it when Steam tries to force it on me, thus I turn to GOG where I can disable auto-update. Until now, I thought GOG was quick to include latest patches but 3 wks (and counting) behind Steam to make this patch available on GOG's platform is poor service.

2. I read the patch changelog on Steam and want the bug fixes in place on GOG's version before I start playing. You may know that sometimes a bugfix, for issues to be fully resolved, requires a complete campaign restart and I am unwilling to take that chance by playing early.

We released 1.600 and it will be released on GoG in a few days. I'm sorry for the delay.

What's coming with 1.600:

We have grabbed the best suggestions from the community wishlist, and squeezed them into this sizable update which brings a myriad of content.

For starters, the icons in the game look rather tiny on 4K screens, and the community complaining about that part is completely right. Starpoint Gemini Warlords unfortunately doesn't have scalable UI, which is a real and understandable issue. This update brings overhauled user interface, which is now clear and easily readable on those massive 4K screens.

Two completely free ships from Starpoint Gemini 2

Moving on, we are bringing two ships from Starpoint Gemini 2 completely for free. Community wishes have been granted; Myrmidon and Bishop are coming to Starpoint Gemini Warlords, and can be bought at Concordia!

Starting from the basics, we've added more optimizations into the code which leads to less crashes and happier Starpoint Gemini Warlords players.

One of the most popular wishes among the players was to add a distance on Quick Scan feature, and several additional hints. Those new features help in terms of better orientation in the game world, and offer better information regarding the target.

Last but not the least, the zoom feature in the map has been tweaked. The map zoom doesn't reset itself when player re-enters the map, which saves time (and nerves).

Thanks Zzokalj, I hope to see it update 1.600 in the next week. What was the reason for the delay at GOG?

I have waited nearly a month to play the game after buying it (still have not downloaded it yet).

New Warlords update will come to GoG in a few days, we will probably pack 2 updates at once because we introduced several new changes and fixes in the last few days. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Other news is that we will implement nVidia ANSEL into Warlords so you'll be able to take some really beautiful screenshots. :)
