Loadout you can take your things off and put on a new ship. Although its never everything that transfers. Like all the turrets and ammo.

But Enchancements. You cant seem to take it off and store it.
I just changed ship and i have to rebuy the expensive shield booster i had yet again. This is 3 time and its getting pretty annoying that i cannot just take it with me. I cant rely on it auto doing it on ship change...
I unmounted it to remount it on another ship. Since first time changing ship, i just lost it.
Second time i unmounted and it transfered to the new.
This time i unmounted and i lost it again.

Can you dev please do so its easier to transfer stuff? Right now its pretty annoying and alittle vague on how it works.

It should transfer automatically as far as I know. If you will notice it doesn't work, please send us an email to customersupport@starpointgemini.com with your save game and log.txt from game folder so we can check it out.

Well. I unmounted this time to hopefully switch it to the new ship. But i guess that made me loose it. Can we please just get an overall storage with everything or something? If i wanna switch between some every now and then, it can only really work if i can store it, unless its going to cost me all hell.
Really miss more control over all this stuff.

Enhancements are transfered and cannot be stored, but weapons should be stored at your ship in Drydock.

Can it please be made so it can be stored?
If it can be transfered. I dont see a reason it cant be stored. Since you move it anyway.

Enhancements are not weapons. Think of them as a cosmetic products women use. They cannot put makeup today then take it off and store it for tomorrow. This is not the best example, but basically that's it. It is a design decision, it was discussed with the community during Early Access and all accepted that as a good direction to go. I really cannot tell you it will be changed any time soon since there were no complaints about it yet. :-/

I might be gravely mistaken here, but...

- Enhancements get fully reimbursed when you dismount them

and

- Enhancements are slot-specific, and seem to be consistently available across all stations

Unless I'm missing something, storing them would make no sense, as you need to be docked to swap them around, anyways.

Correct. I did however find a slight hitch, there's a bunch of enhancements you can research in your HQ. Those are indeed only available from there.

I changed ships like underwear and enhancements do not transfer (GOG 1.0 offline version).

Here what I do:
Go to enhancements, unmount all, go to systems and unmount all, then transfer command to the new ship in the garage.

If I just transfer command, all enhancements and money spent is gone (which makes sense because they are implemented into that ship). I don't know if they are reflected in the selling price of the old ship.

I did not try to trade in ship, not sure if enhancements would transfer in this situation,

Hey,

if you unmount all enhancements in the "Enhancements" tab in the Drydock, you get all the money back already because they do not store in your inventory, but get sold back.
