Please add how controllers worked in part 2 to this game.
I don't understand?

Controller support in SPG2 was lacking. Now the whole UI is better suited for controllers, people are statisfied, most popular controllers are working pretty good (Xbox One, Dualshock 4, Steam Controller...) and this is the first complaint about controllers on SPGW.

Can you please try to explain what you mean by that?

I'm using an XBox controller. I reinstalled SPG2 to be sure my controller is working. In SPG2 the left stick controlled the direction of the ship and the right roll and speed. In SPGW the left stick controls ship direction, the right camera and the directional pad for rolling. The triggers are fine speed. But, its difficult to streer ship and roll at the same time. Controlling the ship is easier in SPG2. Also, the A button does nothing in SPGW. I've tried every USB port on my computer and I've reinstalled the game 5 times.
Some controls were changed due to community feedback on Warlords. But A button should definitely work.

Can you, please, send us your game save and log.txt to customersupport@starpointgemini.com so our programmers can check out controller settings?

Please add a link to this thread or short description of the problem. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Is there a way to rebind the controls? Thanks.

OMG control was horrible on my xbox 360 I tried for a week and gave up and deleted the game. I will avoid your products in the future.

I'm sorry you couldn't get used to the controls. We tested it with controller users (XB1 players mainly) on RTX London convention specifically to get feedback on controller usability. They didn't had any problems and in fact I was amazed how fast they dived into the game. I'm not a regular controller user myself though, but I don't have problems with controlling my ship. I'm just slower than on mouse and keyboard.

Can you please elaborate what do you mean by horrible? How would you set it up on controller?

We are always looking for constructive feedback. Thank you.
