I have some problems with carrier type enemies and ive heard that there is somewhere a defense against
fighters but i cant seem to find the right station/planet which sells these items.

To be honest, I'm not sure which station sells Artemis, but to counter fighters you can also buy interceptors for your carrier. They will go for enemy fighters. Bombers are good against capitals and fighters are in between.
