Dear developer,
I'm sorry to say this, but most likely I'm trying to get a refund. Why?
It's due to the terrible terrible german translation, that's not worth being called a translation. It starts with the scenario descriptions, when you want to start a new game. I first thought "is this a joke?" because these are obviously english descriptions being translated by google translator without being proof-read or anything at all.
The dialogue of the campaign seemed to be okay at first, but after the first minutes, more and more typos and grammar mistakes occured. There were also funny "false friends" when "energy signature" was translated with "Energie-Unterschriften" ... but all this indicated, that no mother tongue speaker must have been involved in this translation?!
This bums me out, since I got the feeling, that I might have liked the game, but I usually play my games in german, if there is a translation available. And the fact, that this game had one according to the gog description, was a (major) reason to actually buy it.
No hard feelings, I just thought, that you should know.
EDIT: I read in a thread at the steam forums, that the translation has been made by a third party. If this is true, I can just hope for your sake, that you didn't give them money for this?! This might sound rude, but that's just, how bad the translation is...
EDIT2: If this issue is adressed in early future patches, that are distributed in time over GOG (not only Steam) then I might rethink my intention to get a refund or at least to rebuy it soon.
Good luck with your efforts.
