I keep reading about a world editor but I can't find it, only materialeditor.exe. Is there a world editor? Where can I find it?

You have been duped like countless folks thinking modding tools came with the GOG version it doesn't. Only the steam version has it sadly.

Wait, seriously? I was on the fence about the game, but picked it up anyway because it was on sale--might have to reconsider if it isn't even a full package.

Anyone have any idea why? Wouldn't it be simple to include the editor .exe in the GOG package?
I will check with the guys and get back to you.

Unfortunately no. We screwed up with World Editor, had many technical problems with it and when we finally got it to work, next update screwed it again and we couldn't implement it properly. We are a small team and mistakes were made. We are smarter now and we're planning ahead for our next project. That being said, many people in Steam modding community managed to do some nice mods even without it. And it's not available on Steam either so it's not that we neglected GoG community in any way. We just screwed up, that's all. :(
Thanks for the info
