I was flying through the Masada region when I noticed that the stars were shining through the planets for some reason. I've attached a screenshot. Does the game engine support eclipsing? I'm running SPG2 v1.9001 on Windows 7 using an nVidia card.

We are aware of this but since we always had some new content to put into the game, we never got to fixing these kind of weird glitches. It's not gamebreaking though, just funny. :)

But you have to admit it does take away the immersion of the game. Will this graphical bug be fixed in the future?
It's not something that happens often, I didn't see this for a long time. To be able to fix it, we need log.txt and our save game when it happens so we can see what is causing it. Without recreating this bug, we cannot pinpoint and fix it.

So yes, we will fix it when we get enough of these bug reports, but it depends on our players if they will report it. Screenshot doesn't help us much unfortunately. :(

I sent my log to you through the GOG chat. Did you get it?

Also, do you know if there is a way around the "Mute when Paused" issue? I just want to be able to mute all the music and sounds when the game is paused.

That log did help us out. The problem is that SPG2 is DX11 game and you have older GeForce GT 220 graphics card which is DX10 card so some features are not supported and that can lead to this kind of akward glitches.

Actually in the beginning I thought it was a glitch in the game that can occur rarely, but it's some kind of DX10 vs DX11 conflict thing. We'll look into this further, but I don't have ETA on fix at this time.

Anyway, thank you for reporting it, now we at least know what's causing the problem.

Thanks for looking into it!
