Hello everybody!

I supportet Gemini 2 during "green"-phase on steam, because it was not available on gog. But, of course, I like it a lot more when my games are in my gog libary than in my steam libary.

Any chance for free gog-keys if we already own it on steam (like with many games before)?

Would be great!

greetings,
Slarti
Don't know about that. I think gog and Steam have separate versions alltogether so I don't really know if something like that would be possible. But I also supported devs almost a year ago in Early Aceess and didn't regret one bit. Game was astonishingly upgraded during beta and after release already 5 updates came. Really great devotion there!
When we are on non-steam versions, I'd also like a gog or even retail version with all the cool stuff in the box!
Please, try to send mail to oliver@starpointgemini.com and ask them. Maybe they could help. ;)

This doesn't happen with any game. GOG and Steam are not affiliated in any way. Considering how long you've been signed up here I'm surprised you still haven't figured this out.
Yes, unfortunately, GoG and Steam are totally unrelated. And, to be honest, even Steam keys are not something that we control. It depends on the publisher, not devs.

But no publisher will give away an extra copy of the game to everyone that bought the GoG or Steam game. I'm pretty sure of that. :-/
I just want to say that I know GOG and Steam are separate but that I have done it where I have used keys from games I bought elsewhere and used them to activate on Steam or GOG. There are publishers/devs that do allow this, so it is not true that NO publisher would give away extra keys.

One example is you can use your Steam key for the Witcher on GOG.com and The Witcher is made by the same company as GOG. They let you have a free extra copy. I also used my key for Evorchon Mercenary to get a copy on Steam. Crusader kings 2 also allowed you to transfer to Steam, plus probably other paradox title let you do it too.

My point is there are examples of this in the industry.

EDIT: And I just want to be clear that I didnt buy Steam keys elsewhere, I bought them from Impulse before it was bought by Gamespot or directly from the devs website. These games didnt require steam but it was possible to add them to steam as a free extra copy.

As I sad, many publisher / game studios gave me free gog keys when I (nicely) asked them and were able to prove that I bought the game already on steam.

Of course there is no guarantee that you get a free key, because gog and steam are to seperate things.
Unfortunately, it's not up to us. We are developers, and Iceberg Interactive is our publisher. They are in charge of the keys. You can always try to contact them.

And yes, GoG and Steam are not affiliated in any way so it's not something that is provided automatically based on your purchase on GoG/Steam. :-/
I also wanted to swap my steam copy for a GoG copy. It's a shame there is no function to make this possible.

I'm really sorry, but it's publisher's decision.
At least you finally got that freaking update. :-/

No worry's, it's not your fault, I know you guys would make it happen if it was left to you. I always buy from GoG when ever possible, but sometimes that EA draws you in. :)

The thing is,I will probably at some time buy it from GoG as well, because the game is well worth it.
