nicholasgazel: Any idea on an ETA? Are we talking a few hours or a few days?
Pretty much this ;)
Autoupdate somehow didn't notice the 1.1 but when I changed to manual there it was. And for 2 hrs too...

Unfortunately the bug that slow-down bug that makes the animations run roughly at half the speed is still in there. Reinstalling the XNA/c++ redist doesn't seem to help this time.

edit: I'm sorry about the new post, this was suppsed to be an edit to the first one ...
The mods are welcome to remove one of these.

i thought that the bug is that sometimes the (walk) animations play 2x faster than they should. Usually for a short while after the game is paused in some dialog, as if it was trying to catch up some lost frames. But I didn't find any mention of the problem anywhere so I thought it must be just me, or intentional.
Here's the thread on steam from back then when 1.0 was released:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/413150/discussions/0/405692758714229316/#c405692758722098081

There was also a long-ish thread on reddit but i can't seem to find it right now.
Good news, ConcernedApe released a quick patch, to fix multiple bugs that were reported. And also he changed some things after hearing his fans.

If you have steam version, you can play with the latest fixes, by selecting the beta option.

My favorite change, is that you can build in (most of) grass areas of the new farms. I'm SO glad he did this, the new farms were too punishing in space, in comparison to the standard farm.
Not only in grass, if you're playing in the 'mining' farm, you can also construct things in the area where ores are generated, now!

If you play the beta, do a small favor to the epic dev, report any bug you find.

1.11 is now in GOG, too =)

When exactly the slow movement happens? It also happens when you run the game in window mode?
In one of my PCs, the game gets slower in rainy days, but only if I'm using the farthest zoom option.
Try to change zoom and see what happens.
Also, disable flash effects and use the worst lightning quality, because if the problem is your machine, the performance should improve a little bit after doing this. Good luck buddy.

Does he only check bugs on reddit?

I submitted an exploiit a few versions ago and it's still in the game.
I found another one recently as well.
I see that the time exploit haven't been fixed. When time becomes 2:00, your farmer will start the animation to fall unconscious, but if you guys press the button to open the quests window, you can continue playing.
After some seconds, he/she will start the animation again, but if you keep pressing the button, you can play for as long as you want.

I got a lot of Iridium ores in a day thanks to this. =]
Maybe this will help other farmers, so I'm sharing with you. I didn't have to build bazillions of ladders thanks to this, because instead of doing weeks of Skull Cavern runs, I did a long day. I even got to level 400, not bad for my first run.
Better do it while you still can friends, I don't think CA will let this thing continue in his next patch.

If one really wants to "defy" the rules, using memory hacks is the way to go. No need for a glitch like that. ^^
If you don't want to download something like Poke or Cheat Engine, simply use the exploit I mentioned. ^^
There is no wrong way, use the option you prefer.
