Hello,

I've some trouble to get the online working on Linux. When I launch the game through the "start.sh" it says "Galaxy auth failure: FAILURE_REASON_GALAXY_SERVICE_NOT_AVAILABLE". Am I forced to wait to have GOG Galaxy on Linux or is there a workaround.

Thank you for answers and sorry for my bad english.

Galaxy right now is not on Linux and I doubt it will be anytime soon since it is still in Beta on Windows.
But don't worry because at least with stardew valley you can play online with LAN to see how that works check this video

(the online Lan tutorial starts at 3:12)
Since the "Evolve" program is not available now, you can use the program Hamachi or Zerotier.

Here is a tutorial for the program "Zerotier"

Hey, i got it to work with some weird manipulations:

- I installed Wine and configure it to launch Windows's version of GOG Galaxy.

- Then you can close it and only launch the service required which is "GalaxyCommunication", for that you need to type
"wine net start GalaxyCommunication"

If the service start correctly then you can play online without having to launch the entire GOG Galaxy through Wine.

IMPORTANT NOTES: You need to start Stardew Valley (I assume it will work on any other gog game but i'm not sure) before launching the service else it will instantly stop

Hope it helps !

(And as always sorry for my bad english)
