I play this game on a laptop and like thatyou can play it almost exclusively without a mouse - only inventory and selections call for it, the rest works fine with keyboard only. Nice!

...until 1.2. Before, I could proceed with dialogue by pressing "ust tool" or "left click action" which layed on x. Now, I HAVE to left-click but cannot continue with the "left-click - button". Is this a bug or intentionally? Is there any other way to continue with text on the keyboard?

Can you update the game to version 1.2.29 and see if this issue persists?

Nope, this did not solve the issue. Well, I didn't expect it because it does not seem like a bug but more like a "removed feature".... Still it would be great if this button function would come back or could be solved in another way....

I know this is an old complaint, but it's the best one I can find about this, and I'm hoping there's an answer by now. I'm running 1.2.33 (downloaded today) on Ubuntu 16.04. On an older version (1.0.6, I think) I used to be able to page through dialogs and close them with the X key, which was bound to right-click in the controls. Now the X key only does things like pick up items and start conversations, but has no effect on dialogs. No key does, not even Escape. The only way to close them is to click with either mouse button.

Any idea how I can fix this and get normal keyboard control again? It's going to be a real pain if I have to reach for the mouse for every dialog. I've tried running it both with and without SMAPI, which had no effect on this problem, but I'm willing to use a mod if necessary. Thank you.
