Hi,

The new installer freezes during install. Progress line goes to about 90%, then complete stop, can only be closed from within Task Manager.

Waited for several minutes to see whether it's only a lag, but it isn't.
Now I cannot even play the old version!

Pls help...

Did you try redownloading and/or verifying the installer? Might be just a bad download. My galaxy install went fine, but that won't help you much.

Thanks, it has actually worked later (same download), but for some strange reason it took more than 5 mins (!) on a quite beefy, roughly 1 yr old PC (with SSD !!!) for the installer to finish.
No issues afterwards.

Very, VERY weird.
