Sometimes whenever Hacker uses Scramble her icon overlaps with someone else's:

(random idea) Are there no any random missions posted by Crimson Pact? At least I don't think I've seen any. If not, maybe they should be available if your UFP score is low enough? Maybe they will reduce UFP, The Social Stage and/or Workers United scores. They could also try to double cross you as you finish your objective at random exit points…
I was doing random mission and the game crashed in battle: http://pastebin.com/pRaB28MJ

Last time I looked at the map on this mission map data was: MAP_FA_Random_02763: FA_Hallway_L_Turn_4B_02(Clone)
Random “stuck in battle and can't attack” bug is still there: http://pastebin.com/Vp3MiyYS The game itself didn't crash so I quit it and saved the log.

Thanks for the log! I think that's cracked it for me. Root Hack tries to make the target use their basic attack, but the boss has a cooldown on his basic - was the boss Root Hacked?

Should be fixed for next update!

Hmm, I'm not sure now but I do use Root Hack pretty often until I can Snowcrash everything, so it is a possibility.
Since there is gonna be an update that changes everything I don't have much to say today.

I've tried using Smuggler (on Challenge) but it's not really my cup of tea (^  ^)'

Dirty moves more or less work, but I like to choose targets I attack. Explosive trap seem to really like blowing up on charmed/confused foes… (^  ^)'

Haven't tried Gunslinger because its first ability sounds like it can target my own party. I usually avoid those kind of abilities. Doesn't mean it can't work, though.

Cheap tricks… err… throwing coins is out of the question, I don't ever have enough (^  ^)'

Surprisingly, Void psyker still works at lower levels. But having medkits is a really good idea until you can offload that damage to an enemy. But then again it is always a good idea to have them :)

And while playing without Prototype this time I discovered that I really miss her. She has a certain atmosphere. Whoever designed Prototype was really successful with her (^ . ^)
Finally managed to download a new build, GOG likes to send me 403 error sometimes… Anyway.

Rendering issue in the tutorial mission: https://i.imgur.com/p708KEY.jpg

Whenever I left click a target to choose an attack sometimes (depends on where are you clicking) some description quickly appears and disappears as attack hexagons move out of the way. Saw this in a first battle with P.E.A. in the “Distressing signals” mission.

Virus: Overheat description in battle says “Infect the target with the Overheat virus to damage them every turn and stack Stun. Recast to trigger Overheat to damage, Stun and reinfect the target.” But recasting Virus: Overheat on the same target will NOT reinfect the foe and never did.

Is it just me or damage numbers became… nicer? :)

More purple haze: https://i.imgur.com/h67TSId.png If I enter the area everything returns to normal.

And more purple: https://i.imgur.com/qyUbLHV.png I can still attack, though. After the battle it returns to normal.

Debian 8 (jessie), AMD64, GeForce GTX 650 (driver's version: 340.96, from repository).

Logs: http://pastebin.com/W6hGeExE
Virus: Mindmelt's description makes it sound like it lasts 4 turns (maybe it should…) when it only lasts 2. At least that's how I read it.

Some text problems (cut short, and no line break before a name): https://i.imgur.com/8IaFTtN.jpg (story spoiler inside)

Thanks for all the info! It looks like with the pink color that something is causing the fog shader is not work with OpenGL, did you recently update your graphics drivers perhaps? Fixed a bunch of issues you noted (as always - thanks!!) and should be good for next update.

Glad you like the Prototype, that's one class (along with Void Psyker) that is really fun to write dialogue for. Give Smuggler Gunslinger a go, it's a pretty crazy tree :D
It seems the game doesn't have any kind of saving system in missions. No regular saves, no autosaves on completing objectives or part of it, and not even checkpoints on changing floor.
This is... unfortunate in a game with traps that can wipe out a whole party in seconds, or damage the party to the point where it's pointless to continue.

Not really. Debian stable does not upgrade things between major releases (aside from Chromium and Firefox, I suppose). Security vulnerablites are patched, some volatile data gets updated (tzdata, for example) and that's about it. Maybe I should try disabling fog effects (I think there was an option for that in the game) and see what'll come out of it.

Hm, I'll check it out then. Hopefully, nobody of my own will die horribly… XD

Hmm, weird. I've disabled Fog but still got purple: https://i.imgur.com/ezbCYmU.jpg Or is that not enough to stop it?
BTW, maybe it's just me, but it seems loading times became longer since last update.
I was trying to start Triangulatin' for Workers United and it crashes somewhere after 90% while I was switching virtual desktops. It doesn't usually do that. Hmm…

I've seen similar thing with Armello recently. Maybe it's Unity?

I do hope that I don't need more GPU memory just yet (1 GB currently, yeah). I was planning my upgrade to be somewhere next year %)
