So, I love crawlers a lot, and the time slot based combat system, too - but my issue is...
80% of playtime, I spend in the stats and inventory screen, comparing gear, for every single character, and being completely clueless and indecisive as to what's the best thing to go with. I feel like the game puts blinders on me, it feels restrictive and convoluted, never ever did I feel like I knew what I was doing or like I was in control in this UI.
What's more, the game has so many mechanics and things to learn and keep track of, and I usually like that a lot, but this time around it... just feels confusing, somehow. Granted, I was gone for a while now, due to not enjoying the time lost in inventory screens in between the thereby sparse gameplay, but I know I had a flow and some nice combos that I used to do - and I can't get back into it. The tool tips of the attack menu are not enough to refresh that knowledge again, and some seemed to have broken texts, too (as in, no line breaks or punctuation).
The inventory and gear comparison, at the very least, needs to change before I can continue playing - and I mean that literally, playing, this game rather than stare at it for 30 to 60 min between the very enjoyable parts...
Any tips on how to manage that stuff for someone with serious OCD...?
