In both TIE fighter and X-Wing, my keyboard's dead from the start. I'm unable to type a name to even register a pilot, so I'm stuck. No logs that I could spot. Just a standard MS Natural 3000 USB keyboard, Win7, nothing special.

I'm having this exact problem. Yesterday everything was fine but now I can only use Alt-F4 to get out of the game altogether.
