I keep getting the error in the attached picture when I try to launch the 1998 version. I've tried it with both my Thrustmaster T-16000M and my Xbox 360 wired controller. I don't see any other references to this problem on the forum or on the support page. Would anybody happen to have any ideas?

Same issues here. I'm using Windows Vista. Same thing happens with X-wing as well.

Same issue here as well. Running Windows 8. GOG's technical support link is circular. It doesn't let you submit an email.

I'm having the same problem with 98 tie fighter and 98 x-wing. Previously x-wing worked on an older computer but not on my new 64 bit windows 8 setup.
