Has anyone attempted running this on Wine? Has anyone been successful?

I've tried a myriad of combinations, and just end up with a black screen and audio. It starts up. That's about it.

I did. If you mean running it on Linux using Wine it works. The only problem I am working on right now is the speed. It runs way too fast.

I had to choose Wine D3DDevice using WineD3D and OpenGL under 3D device at the beginning.

1.9.8 development under Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 using nvidia drivers.

Problem is I'm on Mint. I can't even get it to run. I'm going to assume since Odi is running it on a Distro with Nvidia that it may just be my AMD card. I'll try again this evening.

Nope. I just updated it to 1.9.9 and still the same. Works.

But with the famous speed issue still not resolved. Do not have time to look into it currently.

Install notes: Installed directx9 in Winetricks.
EDIT: Actually that's a different machine, nVidia GeForce 320m.
