I cant seem to get the REBED editor program to work says you "need a full" install of the game when I go to load new cards. Is there a fix to this? Can we go somewhere and download the right files so we can use this editor program? I used it ages ago and it was great upload new cards and units to make the game even more interesting.

I tried the Version of RebED that comes with the Rebellion Reloaded/Refreshed Package and it worked*.

Just use the RebEd 0.26 (unpacked).

*Tried it with this Mod: http://forums.swrebellion.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=27881
But it only rebalances stuff and don´t add New Cards, so i don´t know if that works too.

Did you start the game directly through the .exe or did you use the desktop shortcut?
Couse i think i read that the game only works when using the shortcut.

Does anybody know anything about how to get the files installed so you can change the cards? or is that a feature that will be lost to time

I think it's a common windows 7 issue, you might need to use a virtual machine to do make an appropriate mod, then transfer the files over to your main computer and overwrite your rebellion folder. Reded does work with the windows 7 version, but it struggles with certain things.

I'm using VIsta but perhaps it is the same problem.

Does anyone have a working link to v.26 these days? Can't seem to locate my old files and swrebellion is still having issues.

Hello,

Well after a lot of trials I finally got rebellion to work, however I too have the rebed problem as changing cards is the biggest reason for still playing the game. How about this, does reloaded need a full install before being done? and would that installation then enable rebed to work? I know it's a reach but was hoping.

Sorry, I didnt catch you. I dug a little more before risking more tinkering to the program finally running.
Reloaded needs a full install. Basically stuck then.

Does anyone know where I can get the old editor for Star Wars Rebellion that let you modify missions for your characters so that the Rebels could do Assassination missions for example as I can't seem to do that on RebEd?
