Hi :)

We want to play with fully upgraded pods in LAN.
The old trainers aren't working anymore. Or is somebody of you aware of a working trainer with the GOG version?

We know the Shift 4 F4 Trick already.

Also, is it normal that upgrades are gone after a race?

Thanks!
If it helps, here's my complete save file: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Star+Wars+Episode+I+Racer/ALEJANDRO.sav

Put it in the "STAR WARS Racer\data\player" folder.

All tracks beaten in first place (so all characters unlocked), it has the best pod parts in perfect condition, and almost 50000 unspent truguts. It's legit, without cheats.

About your upgrades question, no. Degradation in their condition is normal, especially if you didn't buy all the droids. They'll be repaired after winning a new race (old ones don't count for repairing and degrading, as far as I know).

thanks man. did you play that fast since release of the gog version?
so that upgrades don't break, i need to buy these pit droids? sorry it's ages since i played this :)
It's short in retrospective. 25 tracks that you never have to repeat, where I won easily. It helps that I played this game a lot on the N64 when I was a child, and now it controls a lot better. It took me two days to complete it.

Yes, each droid prevents damage on one pod part, unless there is already something damaged, so it will be dedicated to repair it. Default parts don't get damaged.

I'm not sure if damage is random or if it's related to how many times you crash in a track. There are guides that tell you to buy directly the best parts in the junkyard (they don't need to be unlocked lile the normal store) and then repair them in new tracks. It's what I did and I saved a lot of money. In the end I had two damaged parts, so I sold them and bought them new. Just after that, it's the save file I posted.
