Thanks, works for me now!
I had a different type of crashing. The game would load into the main menu, the first cutscene would play, then about 20-30 seconds into playing the first level it would crash with a message saying it had lost connection with my graphics card and to review my graphics drivers and settings. My PC isn't new, and my GPU is an nvidia GTX 980 Ti.

After it had done this twice, I decided to update my graphics drivers as they were last updated a year ago. After that was done, I tried the game again and it worked just fine.

Thought I'd post this here in case anyone else gets a similar type of crashing issue.
I don't use Gog Galaxies but the other installer. Would this be the same kind of thing causing it to hang on exit? It's only when I go to quit and is more pesky than anything. I see something about the storage buffer not being big enough and settings file not giving permission to open in the log. It just stops responding.

Using NVidia GeForce GTX 750Ti. Driver is out of date due to it throwing a fit on my old TV monitor that it used (the screen kept going black. It wasn't compatible with their 'security measures' on the latest updates. I have no idea if the TV monitor I use NOW is, even though I bought it brand new. It IS a TV, not a regular computer monitor)
