Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble getting Star Wars: Bounty Hunter to start on my PC. Here's a quick rundown of my setup and what I’ve tried so far:

OS: Windows 10
GPU: Nvidia 500 series (drivers are up to date)
GOG Galaxy: Not installed (so it can’t be an overlay issue)
The game just won’t launch—no error messages, no crash logs, only black window appearing and closing immediately. I’ve checked compatibility mode (tried Windows 7 and Windows 8), ran it as administrator, and verified the game files, but no luck.

Does anyone have ideas on what else I could try? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Same problem on Windows 11.
Same problem, Like Mafia Definitive Edition, it's crap, it seems like the games Amazon gives away on GOG are useless.
Was having the same issue, the fix is pretty simple
Try going to Settings (in the GOG launcher) and then game features and uncheck the overlay.
Worked great for me after that :)
I have had zero issues with Windows 11 24H2 and this game with a newer RTX GPU.

According to specs, min is 600 series. Unfortunately, I don't know how this release of this game and an older GPU will work (it may be an older game but its a new release of it), if it will work well or not. Even some GPUs in the Nvidia 700 series cannot do certain things today. I have a 700 and a 200 series one as well. You will see problems with a 200-700 series GPU today under various conditions. Even 900 series may. That complicates what the actual problem could be. If it is from that or not.

Its possible its an overlay compat problem as suggested above. But, it could possibly be from other compat or prereq as well.

Not always is min spec fully correct. It may work here. It may not. But, likely higher chances are it won't.
