I patched my game yesterday to version 1.0.1 and played it. Today Galaxy has a new patch download. The patch yesterday had 10 GB - whereas the new one is 11 GB in size.

What's going on here? Appreciate any insight...

Okay, found the missing information myself: there is a sneaky update to 1.0.2. (Steam has now a changelog news about it)

I use the offline installers.
I wonder if there is any way to find out if the current offline version 1.0.523 contains that new 1.0.2.

I wish GOG would reference the developer's version number.

I sure hope there is a (small) patch to 1.0.542 now that I spent 11 hours downloading because they didn't offer a patch for version 436.
Maybe it will show up today!

I am downgrading to version 1.0.1 because 1.0.2 completely destroyed game performance.
1.0.2 is a small change compared to 1.0.1 (weirdly though, it is as big in file size). You can see the changelog on Steam.

However, with 1.0.2 I think they broke something so this version runs worse than previous versions of the game.

Edit: looks like 1.0.3 fixed the problem from 1.0.2
