Exactly - but there are SOME people confused - and using the term steam key, hence me trying to clarify with you.

Got my CS key from Steam redeemed, and my SoC key from Gamestop Digital redeemed, but my Steam copy of CoP won't work. :( Ah well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Sent a support ticket in and they said that "only keys from retail copies are supposed to work." and that they "will do their best to keep updating their list of compatible codes...".

So here's to hoping that it will EVENTUALLY work.

Have all 3 games on Steam - yesterday all 3 were successfuly reclaimed. Thank you GOG!

Strange! Although gog says that steam cd keys shouldn't work, most people can redeem one, two or even all "stalker" games. So, is it just my bad luck that I cant redeem any of them? (says all my 3 cd keys from steam are invalid)

Those are not Steam keys actyally - they are Starforce/Gamespy multiplayer keys that Steam just shows you. To get key for SoC you need to run game and got to Multiplayer, and for other two you can just get those keys in your Steam Library in each game menu.

I was able to get the CoP key to work but the SoC key came up as invalid. :(

I'm unable to activate my retail SoC key on GOG. GOG actually recognizes my CD key, but when I click continue, I get a popup which says "Something went wrong" :-/

Does this bug still persist? Because I'm having the same problem.

It accepted my CoP key without any issue, but SoC seems to be a problem. Maybe it occurs specifically when you are trying to redeem two keys on a single day or something.

SOC did not work but CS and COP did, so 2 out of 3 aint bad..

I'm also having this issue. My CoP took just fine but CS and SoC didn't. I might try again tomorrow just to see if anything changes.

Can anyone tell where CoP's key is located? I activated SoC but I can't for the life of me find a key in my CoP box. I have the manual(but don't see a key written on it) stickers and a map. I don't even remember where it was located. If it was on a slip insert then maybe I lost it. I'm pretty good with my games though.

The key fro CoP is written on the frontside of the manual. I have the boxed version as well and found the key on a small sticker which is pasted at the bottom of the frontside, it's just written down with capital letters and numbers.
One warning; you have to type the key exactly as it is written, which means capital letters. When i just wrote down the key i got a message of invalid key. When i typed it again but now with capital letters (i used capslock) the key was accepted.

Also a possible solution for those who get the invalid key message; type the key with capital letters, use capslock when you type it. Seems the keys are case sensitive.
