GSC have released a Multi-Patch to replace the GameSpy master servers which are being shut down.

EDIT: removed Call of Pripyat workaround since GOG have now released installers for GSC's multiplayer update; download the update from the My Games page.

I wonder if GOG will release their own patches incorporating the fix.

Is the patch still available on GOG? I've looked but I don't see it.

A quick look shows that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl still has the patch. I presume the other two games either have it baked into their installers now or no multi-player. Did you look in the change logs? (I have all three games on GOG)

It seems to have part of the patch but it still needs gamespy so not all of it.

The multiplayer patches only changed the servers the game uses. In-game prompts remain the same, so the games still have the GameSpy logo and ask you to make a GameSpy ID and so forth (despite actually using GSC's own servers for all of this).
