The Steam version of Spelunky was updated to version 1.47 on September 30, 2021. Is there any chance of the GOG version receiving this update as well?

It might probably be there?

Problem is, GOG is terrible at changelogs, version control, and well, most everything, really related to software releases.

I'd poke Mossmouth gently and ask if they sent the last build in, not that it really matters seeing as we never got online features anyways.

It's not. The latest GOG build was released in 2017, and the latest update was released in 2021. I tried contacting both Mossmouth and BlitWorks about it; my email to Mossmouth was discarded as "spam" and BlitWorks never got back to me.

Well, I'd suggest gently kicking GOG in the shins and asking them what's up.
Any news on the update ?

Harmik: -snip-
The last update was from 2019. So, probably not. The last tab (changelog) is the one worth looking at in this context.

Thanks for the reply

Didn't realise that page was from a different site I thought GOG would have some sort of a version history right on the site.

You'd think GOG would have a lot of things, like a user accessible review section where one can find, locate, read, edit, or expunge one's own reviews, or the ability to do more than look at cloud data, or perhaps the lofty goal of a forum with modern formatting tools.

There's a lot that could be improved on the visual front end.
