I have not and i am on run 700 or something
(I have a friend who is on 2700+ and only won 1 time)

In the HD version, I have 2,717 plays and 75 total wins (20 of which were Yama wins) as of this post. My success rate would probably be much better if I didn't try to get to Hell every run, though. ;D

I can't remember how many runs I was up to when I first beat the game, but I would be deeply surprised if it was any earlier than 700-something. I want to say it might have been in the 900s (and that's with my having watched other people playing on YouTube while I was still learning the basics).
Basically, don't give up. : )

Wow still 700 runs and no wins, i also made a cheat texture pack too, for black market and live skeallys I going to make/get one to make almost all the characters to ninjas
