I contacted GOG support and they recommended creating a THQ ticket (which I already did) and also emailing support@quanticlab.com (which I just did). I think it would help if everyone from this thread also emailed them, otherwise the developers might ignore the problem.

quanticlab? Are you sure? I am in close contact with THQN (see official SpellForce discord server by THQN) and this is news to me that a new studio got asigned to it.

I push your ticket ID's directly to the Community Managers and sometimes the producers if its critical and in my range of connection.
Well, I didn't imagine it. This was the email sent to me by GOG support as a result of my complaint. Copying their email response:
Many thanks and the problem has now been reported to the appropriate team for further investigation.

Sadly, no ETR but you could try reaching out directly to the creators of the game as well in order to let them know of the problem here:

Looks like it's fixed. I just had updates. I tested soul Harvest and it's good now. The rest are updating now. Thanks To Unreal_NeoX
