Will the new Spellforce 2 Expansion "Faith in Destiny" Come up on Gog.com?
I love the Spellforce series and am looking to buy this expansion but I would rather buy it here then anywhere else.
No one knows and GOG won't tell until they actually release it (if they actually release it).
I am also waiting to buy the expansion in the hope that it will appear on GOG sometime soon.
I'd like for this one to come here too. :)

Even at $6 it would be overpriced. I made the mistake of picking it up recently on the Steam sale, and it's pretty much a textbook example of "unfinished". The campaign consists of a grand total of 4 maps (and fairly lackluster ones at that), and then just ends abruptly with the introduction of what I assume was meant to be the primary villain of the campaign. It's like the developers got halfway through making the campaign then got told "Alright, you're done. Publish what you've got."
I always feared that it would turn out bad. When the news of this expansion first surfaced, Jowood was still up and running and the brains behind wanting to have an expansion made. I still had the Gothic 3 expansion fresh in memory which was pretty much the sme story, new dev to make an expansion.

If the expansion pops up here on GOG, I will most likely buy it, but I am not expecting anything like the previous installments in the series.

Ah crap. OK, thanks, looks like SpellForce is dead as a series.

Yes it is Steam-only (Bad expansion: It will make you a lesson: don't buy on Steam).
SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny E3 2010 Developer Interview

http://www.gamespot.com/spellforce-2-faith-in-destiny/videos/spellforce-2-faith-in-destiny-e3-2010-developer-interview-6266434/

This sums up what it is about. They state it is only 15 hours long. Personally I think people want everything for free these days because they think there entitled to it. I suppose they are the only ones that have worked hard for there cash.

For the moment I would not want to work in the video industry.
Isn't anybody from Nordic on the forum that can clarify if the Faith in Destiny will ever come to GoG?

A Yes or No would nice...

Actually there is. It was mentioned in the General Forum (Release Thread for Demons of the Past).

The statement was made by ThomNG from Nordic Games:

There may be an option to create a non-Steam version of Faith in Destiny, it is now more if GOG wants to release it and if they will accept the pricing we want to have for Faith in Destiny :) but this topic is not fully closed - there are discussions behind the scenes and I am quite positive that it will come on GOG in future ;)
Ah! Ok, thanks for the link/answer.

:D
I wonder if Faith in Destiny still has a chance for a release on GOG. Maybe the point about the price was some stuff about regional pricing...
Where on GOG.com Spellforce 2 : - faith in destiny ??
Believe me you don't want this game on here. I am glad GoG it's refusing it because Faith in Destiny is horrible.
It contains many old maps that were just reused, the balance is horrible. The story is shit and there has been zero effort put into everything in this expansion. Be glad that GoG doesn't allow it on here and pray that it stays that way.
It means GoG still has quality control, unlike steam.
