Right , i don't know if you guys already had this but i wan't to import one of my 2 lvl 31 characters into shadow of the phoenix. I get a message that it's not readable.
I've done some testing and before lvl 31 (so lvl 30 with 99% experience bar filled) it works fine. The moment i get 31 i cannot load it anymore. :'(
Any ideas guys?

according to the official spellforce forum, you have to edit your savegame with a hex editor like Hex Editor MX. open your savegame with the editor and the first line should look someting like this:
12 DD 72 DD 03 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 XX 00 00 00
you have to replace "XX" with one of the values below:
"9A" for Version 1.54
"98" for Version 1.52
"96" for Version 1.50

thanks for the reply but it doesn't seem to work :'(
it still says it's not capable loading the char: data not readable.
I've tried deleting all the other savegames and using only 1.
I've tried using the 3 values you suggested and it was originally on 9A
So basiclly i think i'll reload an older save and hope i don't gain to much experience
any other ideas guys?
