I posted a similar question about Hotline Miami here on GoG but i wonder about this game as well. The question is; can my steam saved game be used on the GoG version of Spec Ops? I have tried putting the save files from the steam version in the same folder of the GoG version but it doesn't work. Am i missing something or is it just not possible to transfer save files between the steam version to the GoG version?

Tried it; didn't work.Even using the config file too, didn't work.

It also would NOT allow me to load saves, either. They probably had to make some changes for Non-Steam versions.

So, yeah - don't use Steam-saves and Steam save-configs for this game.
