The main fansite for Space Empires IV, spaceempires.net, seems to be down. Does anyone know what's going on? Is this a temporary hickup or is the owner giving up on it?

I used it like last month or so and it was still working.

Let's hope it is only a glitch and nothing else....

Not that I had anything to do with it, but it looks like the site is back.

it's somehow back but i can't login nor create a new user.

no updates + expired site certificate + forums (pbw.spaceempires.net/forums) down

spaceempires.net and its companion Play By Web 2 are down for good. I've received confirmation from the site admin that it WON"T be coming back.

So, because of this and that the last thing I want to see is for this game to disappear, I've built PBW3 at www.pbw3.net to try and keep the commuity going. I'm promoting this on every platform I can find to try and bring players from different sources all to the same site.
