I see the game has a Discord and the devs probably prefer to use it to communicate and I respect that, but for reasons of my own I don't want to use Discord.

Any chance someone is at least reading what we post here, even if they don't answer?
Maybe posting release notes and announcements every now and then?

I was thinking of buying this, but the first post I see is the game doesn't run at all, which is a bit too much even for early access (or in development, if you prefer).

Hey, I'm a dev. I was just made aware that this forum existed :D
Runs firne for me, Kanamor392. No issues. And a cool thing is it seems to use its own site for user made content such as maps. As an alternative to steam workshop. Something called mod.io
Hi!

I also wanted to make a question to the devs:

What's about that ridiculous RAM requirement? I was so into the fact this is compatible with Macs, but mine is 8GB. It won't run the game, i suppose? It just surprised me because usually games of this type are on the 2-4 GB of RAM...

Eh, the RAM requirement seems to be exaggerated just a tiny bit. With a large skirmish map and settings on highest, it's using 1.81GB.

I agree, it's should probably be 4gb. I'll look into it!
The game runs fine for me. However, I noticed despite having "only" pixel graphics, my CPU gets much hotter running Songs of Conquest than for games with intuitively more "demanding" graphics.

I guess this is early access & not optimized yet. But in later development stages it might be useful to look into the reason for this behavior.

I see...
I looked it up on Steam, and it is 8Gb there. And it also said it can still improve as the game advances.
Good to know, whew. But I'll still wait some more.
