I noticed the position the characters face is the last camera/direction key pressed. W is up, S is down, etc. Does the direction the character is facing matter in combat?

I also recently did the ranger's intro quest. When I'm sneaking should I close the door behind me, or does that not matter? Thanks in advance.

sarge33rd: the door, does not matter.

Facinf in comabt...I "believe", the character simply turns to face as needed to engage/defend. I do not specifically recall however.

Tallima: I have not noticed a difference in facing.
