Good evening, Heroes.

I'm actually wonderign why Solasta is downloading 18GB now after I've clicked "Start" for my already installed version of the game. I know there was a patch today, but why is the game now downloading again complete?

Does somebody else has this issue?

There was an issue with the patch on GOG at first, so they initially pulled it. The 18Gb download should be the corrected 1.018 patch.

I also have seen the 18Gb download after a small patch (4Mo) but the version of the game did not change after...

Thank you for your answer. Downloaded the complete data over night and the game runs as before again now. Luckily my savegame is OK. Phew. :)

Was really surprised as it does not seem to happen for the majority of this game. At least I did not read anything in the web. Strange. But luckily it works again :)

A new update now (215 Mo). This time, I suppose it is the 1.018 patch. I will see later when I will play...

My installation works now as before (luckily).

I'm kind of surprised that no one bought up the fact that the patch was larger than the entire game to download (18GB patch vs 16GB installer)! :D

I updated to the first version of the 1.018 patch and also had the 18GB "patch" pop up, so uninstalled the game and reinstalled the 1.015 version I had downloaded earlier, then did a verify and repair on it (since for some reason GOG doesn't recognize their own installer in Galaxy), which then 'only' required ~5GB to patch.

Weird stuff on GOG's part, but I'm happy at least that I didn't need to download 18GB's on my slow connection.

Hmmm, I did not see i as a patch by itself, more than a patched version of the whole game. But I might be wrong.
The entire Folder on my disc has now 21GB so it might be a mixture of both :)

I know the issue with slow download... I was happy to have the game on my disc and able to play it. So, as the 18GB whatever appeared my plans for thsi particular evening were gone ;)
