I start the game up and its like stuck on super fast forward, im worried its going to damage my pc or something. I cant even play it like this...

i am having the same problem, maybe a glitch. but it wont damage yor PC

I tried a few things myself - the solution for me was to decrease my monitor's refresh rate to 60hz

(W10: Right click desktop -> Display Settings -> Display Adapter Properties -> Monitor)

I was having the same problem but it's easy to fix.
You just need to force V-Sync into the game in the settings of your graphic card.

Tried everything and only setting that worked for my pc is to run it with 256 colors, but it looks ugly.

This is unplayable. I have to be a DBZ character to play this.


Okay setting monitor settings to 60Hz from 144Hz helped.

I got the frame rate issue pretty much fixed i set tesallation mode to use application settings , vsync on ,anti aliasing on adaptive but the sound seems off and buggy now.

I got the same problem! Using Ubuntu 18.04. Bought King of Fighters 2002 and Samurai Shodown V. Both are running ultrafast! I can't play the game! I can't even choose a fighter.
