Can't see why it wouldn't, considering we got the Garou update eventually as well. It may not happen at the same time it stops being beta branch on Steam, but I can live with a small window of waiting time.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH is the one that got a netcode patch. At the time of this post its about $12 USD.

Apparently rollback netcode still hasn't been added to GOG's KoF 2002 UM... As always GOG users are left behind.

I decided to make a negative review to complain about it. If you haven't reviewed this game do so make your opinion known, but make sure you're a verified owner.

GOG reviews are only seen by people who browse the site already, no way SNK or Code Mystics will pay attention here. Instead, I'd suggest bringing it up on the Steam forums for 02UM and other social media. I'm waiting for the update too... I would purchase more similar games, but my fear is there aren't updated either

I went to the Code Mystics forum and there are a few threads asking about this., Their answer seems to be that it's a GoG issue and that they supplied the code, but GOG did the conversion/realese themselves. So it's up to GOG to get off their butts and get the update done.

I opened a ticket. I want to have the new balance patch. The scanlines and the rollback are welcome too.

I'll cross my fingers.

If you want scanlines, it's compatible with Reshade. I'm using it for a CRT shader right now!
