oh sure, good to see it come to gog, but on steam we pay $10 to upgrade. so how about some crossdeal via connect. connect to prove we have it on steam and then pay the same here. it's possible but are THEY willing?
Hate to say it, but highly not likely since they want to consider V2 as "new" to the GOG catalogue. At the very least, now I'm most interested in the possibility for 4 coming over to GOG in the long run so long as this does okay sales wise.
rather have DRM free games i can install and play offline
I'd love to have a DRM free version of this game with even all the DLCs included, but an upgrade on Steam for 9.99 vs the asked price here? No, thanks.

I bought more than just a few games on GOG again which I already had on Steam, but the price difference is too huge for something you already paid for once.

Buy it on GOG then. Steam owns your game, not you. You only pay steam to be able to play the games.

Then dont buy it twice.

@SarahGabriella: You missed the point of GOGer's topic, the question was if there was a way to get a crossdeal via connect, because it's easily possible, if Rebellion wanted to. But not likley, unfortunately. Yet, unless there are enough Steam fellows here wanting to pay the full amount again, which I doubt, it should be quite reasonable for Rebellion to think about it. Better to receive money from a deal just like offered on Steam than to get no money at all (from potentially interested and ofc certified owners).

And we are probably aware of the benefits of DRM titles, that might be the reason why we're all here, lol!
But thanks for pointing that out again, Cpt. Obvious! ;)

That was the indication, indeed. With already more games than I can play I'm definitely not going to buy stuff for a second time if the price tag is too unreasonable. Especially not if it would be for collecting purposes only as I already finished the game.

A deal for already existing customers on GOG too, which should be fair, or no buy at all. Just my two cents.
