In the Video Settings section of the main menu there is a setting called M.R.G. with a slider beside it that can be set to ten different states:
M.R.G. >>>>>>>>>>

The in-game description for this setting reads "Multiple Resolution Geometry On/Off" however there doesn't appear to be an on/off toggle switch just the slider.

The documentation mentions that M.R.G. can be turned on for a slight performance increase on a low-end machine.

I'm curious about what this setting changes, I've messed with it a bit and haven't noticed a difference in the visuals yet.

When I first loaded Slave Zero the M.R.G. setting was set so that it only had the first > glowing so I'm guessing by default this feature is turned off?

I was wondering about that myself as well. According to this thread leaving it at the first notch is 'best': http://www.zeus-software.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=509
Thanks for the link sndwv, that thread is an interesting read. ^_^
