I've been playing Sim City 3000 unlimited, borrowed from an old friend.

I managed to build a city of 300000 aproximately and money is plenty, but I'm still struggling with the game.

So I'm looking for some tips from you guys on:
- How can I rise zone demand? So far it has looked a bit randomic to me. It appears that after I changed some ordinances, demand fell through the skies and population dropped almost 100000.
- Why sims keep anoying me about taxes even when they're around 1%?
- How can I build bridges? It doesn't seem to be just like SC2k.
- Do landmarks afect anything at all?
- Is it me or late game economy is all neighbour deal based?
- Any other tips?

EDIT:
- Actually, I had a great drop after that, population kept dropping until roughtly half the original. None of the advisors offered any tip or even recognized that the population had suffered such a loss.
- Sims will complain of high taxes even when they're zero! WHY!?

SimCity 3000 is really more harder than SimCity 2000. To fix this however, You must expand your industry first. They are not saying it infront of you but it's the very first thing you must do in order to succeed.

More Industry's = Need More Commercials

Sold Out Commercials Need More Stuff = Industry's

When Industry's are overworking then they need more people and that's why residential is there.

I hope you understand me because it's not a easy task to explain.

By the way, landmarks are for tourism so it only affects you if you need more people.

Tax... Well, They are Sims so why are you bothering on that one? Keep them cool like to a 1% or 2% if you need some money. I just get loans an pay them back. Sims will just annoy you the crap out of you.

Hope It helped!

Hi, Videogameget! Thanks for the reply, but now that I've finally seen your post, it has been a while since I gave up and uninstalled the game.

Sim City 3000 is just too much randomic for my tastes. I bought Sim City 4 on Origin, at a cheap promotional price, but didn't manage to play much of it yet.

Once again, thanks! ;)
