Kohleran: I start the game and no menu options appear. The game is in windowed mode as well and alt/enter doesn't change it. I put in the camera mod, and was able to zoom out on the loaded initial screen, but no menu. All I see is a stone pedestal.
I tried putting fullscreen = 1 and nothing.
I've changed the config and the userconfig (in data folder) with different resolutions suggested and some of my own and see no change at all with what I can see.
It's like the config files have no effect or something is overriding the settings. I will have to look more into it when I have more time.
Ahh, Nvidia GameSetup solved it. It was being overwritten.
darkwind23: Could you explain a little more. I have same problem.
In the folder for the game, you have to click GameSetup before you can play the game. In GameSetup, you can change the graphics. I thought it was Nvidia, but now after I've slept, I think it's just how they designed the game.
I'm pretty sure that Gamesetup link in the folder is there regardless of graphic cards and until you fix things in that little app, the game doesn't work.
The changes I've made:
First tried darkplanetar's SOLUTION in CONFIG.
Installed the camera mod that lets you scroll out father and see more.
I copied the largest text available, and pasted it renaming it to correspond with smaller text files (see post from the user that suggested that for details)
Found GameSetup in game folder and ran GameSetup.
I set mine to not be windowed, use my monitors (tv actually) native resolution, and used high graphic settings in GameSetup.
Looks and runs fine.
Actually, the SOLUTION posted at the top of this thread makes more sense. His solution revolved around the GameSetup menu not showing completely (but at the point I tried it, I hadn't even found Gamesetup or ANY menu). I tried his solution first and left it, thinking it had done nothing to help. Now I think it actually did help, I just hadn't got to the point where it mattered (after I actually found the GameSetup link in the folder). So if GameSetup doesn't show everything, then read @darkplanetar SOLUTION above.
