Well, I supposed since I bought it here it was able to run properly, but do I need a crack or the CDs to run it?

Of course not. Where did you get this idea? Unless you modify the game files and restore the original copy protection (i.e. by applying a patch which was meant for the retail release) the game should never ever ask for a CD.
