Same for me Windows 8. Has anyone figured out yet if the crashes are random or what actually is causing it?

Uh-oh... it causes a serious hardwarelock after 5 minutes on my PC and on my Laptop...

AleVa: mine used to do the same, it was fixed after setting the compatibility to "Windows 98 / Windows Me"

When I set compatibility mode to Windows98/Me, the sound starts to stutter on Win10.

I have the same problem here, tried to use compatibility mode with windows XP service pack 3, but it didn't work. I'm playing on win 8.1
How is that possible that nobody of the GOG team can't support us with this problem? many users have it!

Had the same problem. Game crashes after a view minuts of playing.
I play on win10 and with the german language pack .

The solution with win89 mode/ admin works fine for me. But the sound still stutters in the mainmenu, but ingame it's fine.

UP !

Any way found to make it work ?
On Windows 10? I can't make the game compatible for Windows 98 so this solution is hard to handle.

Someone did find a way to make it work ?

GOG Team, can you answer to this ? Even if you don't got a solution, it would be really nice to have an answer about this.

Apparently, this is fixed in the Steam version, let's hope they bring it here as well...

I really hope so, due the limited time that I had to play loosing progress because a crash is very annoying...

I have the steam version and I am crashing every time I try to play this game. I've found no help so far.

Hey it looks like we finally received the updates, also the Linux and Mac versions!

I finished the game sometime ago, but I'll try if I can load some savegame to see how the game runs now.
