I noticed that it isn't officially supported and was wondering if anyone had any experience.

Also, I think it's kinda strange that there are no topics in this forum!

Heh, I came here to search for this exact same thing. Happy about the sale, would like to pick this up if someone can confirm it'll work on Win7 64 bit.

Well, I'm happy to report the game does seem to run on Windows 7 64. It did crash the first time I tried to start a mission, but running as administrator seemed to solve that problem. Also, the installation and initial setup is a little strange (oddly sized windows with buttons not available, the game icon briefly turning into a printer, and installing quicktime, of all things!) but it all seemed to work out in the end.

While I'm pleased, it's clear I'm going to have to read the manual carefully; I have absolutely no clue how to play this game! It's definitely a hard core sim....
It will but be patient. May have to load a few times for things to settle down. I've been running it for about a month now and things are good.

I'm glad you pointed out that this installs quicktime. I do not want quicktime on my computer. :) Thank you!!
Maybe the game would run in a virtual xp machine. Until Win7 SP2 That will be out late in 2012 you will need a bios that supports virtualization or a third part product if you do not use Microsofts.
Runs ok on my lap top... win 7 home 64 bit with SP1, not a top of the line system so you should be fine.
