It seems impossible to complete the third mission, your given Power guy, spy and sniper. The map is made impossible by the first truck running over their own guys further down the road by the logs on the side on the road (you have only just parachuted down when they get run over), the 2nd truck to go down the road sets off an alert and guys get out of the truck where some were ran over and repeat for every truck that passes by.

Is there any way to complete that mission on the current version?

With the exception of the first one, the trucks will only stop to drop off troops if they see one of your agents. The challenge is to find a path that keeps you out of sight. If you need to cross the road, wait until a truck passes before making a move.
Good luck!
The 1st agent (a staffer, actually) getting killed is a gag, and is also there to show the consequence of getting spotted on the road. The mission is meant to be completed with 2 agents only (unless you enable co-op mode), hence why you have 2 monitors at your station. So don't panic, well unless you get spotted later on, in which case it's a good thing you got your trusty Scope agent to make quick work of them!
I see this bug seems to only be for network play using all 3 characters, solo you don't get the spy or the glitch. But I want others to test this out.

Running straight to the power on the other side of the road going under the bridge not getting seen or heard. From the snipers spot pictures were taken, the first truck picture shows the run over guys from the first truck passing through. the second truck picture shows that the next truck stops guys get out because of the dead guys on the road and run around alert.

edit: I forgot alt tabbing in and out re-activates 3D so the pictures are a bit blurred, sorry.

Hi, I have another problem with mission 3, so i thought to post it here instead of making another post, hope no one minds it.
I've run with my agents to the end of the map, past the last road check point, I didn't continue on the road i went on the small path on the side and i can see the trainyard from it, but the mission doesn't end. I dunno if it's a bug or if i'm in the wrong place to end the mission, my agents are right on top of the arrow shown on the map that indicates the way out. btw i did the optional mission too. Thanks in advance
Hello, never mind problem solved, i just had to go further down

That's why I love this game, it never repeat the same routine in different maps.
btw we just found out that you can use a shortcut circumventing the "farm" in that level.
dont know if its intended or not but im just highjacking this thread since its about mission 3 ^^

standing right at the radiotower power circuit when you look in the direction of the path (that you dont see from there) where you can finish the mission there is some sort of cliff (where enemies come down if you get spotted). When you try a wallhug you can walk up that cliff and plug right into one of the last circuits.
it is the one where you can watch down on the road station from the hill. killing the guy in the watch tower and the one that checks the trucks.

and just to be honest, we only found that out after repeating the mission for the 4th time. and we were 3 people.

Sounds like a creative shortcut to me! While certainly not intentional, I imagine all games can be broken with enough effort, and it sounds like you guys were having fun while doing it, so kudos.
we really werent sure if it was intentional or not since it looked pretty natural/hidden and we took the enemies coming from that direction for a hint. seems we were wrong :D
anyways i certainly wouldnt call it broken. its just something you discover when playing a level (of any game) over and over with enough time and beer at hand.
and yes, we had a lot of fun there. as we always do when playing signal ops!

oh and since i just saw the new patch there, thanks a lot for continually updating it! we were wondering about the trucks problem with the spy character :)

aaaaand since i cant stop thinking about that level yesterday...is the guy who is locked in the toilet at the radio tower of any relevance?
we finally managed to free and talk to him... about the fourth time playing... first time we took the spy, second time we wiped and third time our wrench guy decided to press left mouse key instead of space after "freeing" him... seeing that guy with the freaky glasses club a man to death on the dumpster haunts me up till now :D ... god we have so much fun in this game!
anyways, i forget someone has to read all my ramblings, so does that guy do anything? we just ended up leaving him there regreting we scared a man into not finishing his business ^^

Haha, nice to hear you guys enjoying the game so much. Especially cool that your doing it Co-op with 3 people. We always envisioned the game being at it's best shared with friends. Now to answer the question, the guy in the outhouse was really just a little bonus. He never really had a purpose other than being a little surprise to anyone who got curious enough to see what's inside the outhouse. We put lots of these types of bonuses throughout the game, but you are probably the first to comment about that guy.

to be honest, my brother gifted it to me on gog here, after he tried it himself and thought it could be a nice coop game for us. it was the first game ive got on gog up until then.
and ever since we pulled off the first few hours together we had such a blast that me and him cant stop bugging all our clan members and friends about it :)
we can only convince one at a time for the buy but still we've already convinced enough to be able pull off a 3 player coop every once in a while.
and boy it really shines in 3p coop!

its actually the first time in my life that i regret being such a bum ^^ if i would have enough funds i'd finance signal ops2 and 3 in the blink of an eye. last time i spent so much time thinking about a game afterwards was in the days of maniac mansion!

and to finally come back around to the quesion again.. so thats what hes about! we already made up plans on how he would maybe help us if we wouldnt barge in so fast xD
anyways shortly after he started to run we nearly shot the poor guy since we thought he would be another one of those alarm-guys like we met in mission 2 in some rooms. thanks for the answer! so we can continue up on to the next mission in peace of mind that weve (probably) discovered everything :)
in any case he managed to make us laugh especially since our wrench guy mistakes mouse button 1 for space sometimes. so.. mission accomplished hehe
