I have looked into the folders and extras but don't see a manual. I also had a hard time seeing a lot of stuff in the basement but really don't see a way to make the game brighter.

Anybody have any ideas as to increasing the games brightness/gama? Also will the manual be released or maybe I am just missing it somewhere

I've just posted a thread with a download for the manual taken straight from the game CD, but I'll include it here as well:

It's a few years since I played this, but as regards the starting basement, I also found it quite dark. However, I remember the rest of the game being much better, so you should be OK.

There is an experimental way of doing it in-game, but for now you could change the setting in the Siege.ini file, to something like this:

Brightness=100

The original English manual was added to the list of bonus goodies on GOG. We're still thinking if we can introduce the brightness setting somewhere within the interface.

Now I'm searching for a way to encrypt after editing the video
