The manual states that during the break-ins, Max can jump over "most obstacles" by pressing the Shift key together with a directional key. However, I never ever could do this. I even experienced break-ins where the entrance was walled-off by furniture with no way through, and I had to exit the building, and come back using a different exit.

So, how do you jump exactly?

for me you jump using shift and the 4 directional arrow keys.

It does NOT work with shift and the numpad keys (2,4,6,8)

I have found out that I can jump in all 8 directions when I press numlock and immediately after the keypad direction. However, I must press numlock again after that, it works only from one numlock setting. Super weird.
